Alliance Code of Conduct
1. No member will show disrespect to another member of the alliance. No comments will be made that shows disrespect toward a particular religion, race, national origin or gender. We want all our members to feel wanted and comfortable and we will not tolerate any slurs aimed at a particular group of people. This said use your common sense when determining what to say or not to say. Friendly joking is more then acceptable when it is obvious a comment is said in fun and not as personal criticism. Direct, derogatory comments meant to hurt someone are not acceptable.
2. If a member of the alliance shows any disrespect toward you, you will NOT argue with them on coms or in alliance chat. Report the matter to your CEO and your CEO will discuss the matter with the offending member’s CEO. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be found, the CEO of the member reporting the incident will take the matter to the alliance board.
3. We expect to be treated with resepct and we will show other pilots in game the same respect. Therefore there will be no smack talk in local.
4. Corp/Alliance theft in any fashion will not be tolerated. Information regarding past corp/alliance theft whether by an alliance members or a members alt may result in a fine or removal from the corp/alliance. We trust all our members to be honorable and we give our members the benefit of the doubt. However, if you show that you will steal from one corp/alliance, we have no alternative but to believe you are capable of and willing to steal from this alliance.
5. The use of a spy for ambushes is not allowed. If you have a spy in another corp, the only use for that spy is to provide intel on POS locations, fleet movement, or capitol ship placement. You will NOT use a spy as a scout and lead a gang/fleet into a trap. If we cannot get kills because we are better organized, have better leadership and are better pvp pilots, we do not want the kills.
6. No luring people into kills. If you encounter someone asking for safe passage you will not tell them that the gate is clear or that you will not kill them and then kill them. If someone asks you a specific questions For example, if someone asks “do you know of any pirate corps I should steer clear of”, you can answer them honestly. If they take that to mean you will not try to kill them if you encounter them and they are red or neutral, that is their choice. However, you will not lie to them in order to get a kill.
7. You will not ransom pilots so they can have safe passage out of a system.
8. You will not, under any circumstances, knowingly sell items to a hostile or neutral so they can leave our theater of operation or enter back into the fight. Placing items on the market for sale is absolutely fine. You have no way of knowing if a friendly or hostile will purchase the item. However, if you are approached by a known hostile or neutral who asks to buy a specific item, you will not sell it to them (I.E. you will not sell fuel to someone so they can keep their pos going or jump a dread out of system).
9. We do NOT pay ransoms. If we cannot fight our way out of a situation and we die, we die with honor.
Alliance Board
The alliance board will consist of 1 member from each member corp and a board president. The CEO of each member corp will select their corps board designee. The board president will be a member from the executor corp or founding member corp. Board members will vote on major alliance decisions, including war decs, moves, new member corps, NAP’s and any other decisions the board feels needs to be put up to a vote. The president will hold veto power to override votes. The board may override a veto with a unanimous vote on any proposed vote.
Member Corps
Any corp allowed into the alliance must have at least 70% of the members as pvp pilots. One predominately industrial corp will be allowed to join the alliance to assist with ship/ammo/mod building needs. However, the rest of the member corps will be primarily pvp based. Determining the PVP based percentage of any corp will be the responsibility of the requesting corp CEO when the corp applies for alliance membership. Each CEO or his/her designee (military director, co-ceo, etc) will continue to monitor his/her corp PVP participation/availability and do what is necessary to maintain the required 70% pvp membership.
If at some point the alliance controls a station, each member corp will be required to purchase, deploy and fuel 2 Battlestar POS’s.
The alliance will not interfere with the internal workings of member corporations. Each member corp is free to recruit, run the day to day operations and discipline its members however it sees fit.The one exception to this rule is that we do require that all members in the alliance be at least 21 years old or older. Also, if a member of a particular corp repeatedly violates the alliance code of conduct or engages in any type of hostile act against the alliance (theft, shooting other alliance members, etc.) and the member corp refuses to discipline the member to the satisfaction of the alliance board, the corp may be removed from the alliance.
New corps coming into the alliance will be required to finish a 30 day probation period. After the end of the 30 days, the alliance board will vote on whether to accept the new corp as a full member of the alliance. If they are not allowed as a full member, they will have 72 hours to remove their assets and leave our areas of operation.
PVP
All member corps are expected to assist in the defense of the alliance areas of operations and to conduct patrols of the area and of hostile areas regularly. It is understood that members need to make isk and mining or npc’ing is not only allowed but is encouraged. However, if a call to arms goes out, members will stop what they are doing and respond to the call immediately. Call to arms may be called by any alliance board member, CEO or alliance military officer. Random call to arms may be called in order to hone our response times and pvp skill. Each corp will be expected to have at least a 40% turnout of all members online at the time of the call and must respond to the staging area within 25 minutes of the call.
PVP in low sec space is more then acceptable (NO suicide ganking in high sec though!!!).
We are a pvp alliance and one way to judge how we are doing as such is through a kms. Therefore, all kill/death mails must be posted on the alliance killboard within 24 hours. A death mail is any mail that you receive that involved any type of pvp. Failure to post kills mails will result in a 10m fine per incident. The fine goes to the alliance wallet.
